Finishing the product

Today I finished filming the remaining parts of the video for Project 2. I then put everthying together in Animoto. I added some more texts and music. I produced the video, reviced it and made a few changes. I will later post the link to the video.

Starting Create Stage

Today I started creating the product of Project 2. I am making a video about what digital communication is and how you would see it in real life. Since it is like a skit that follows a chain of events, I had to film various parts separately. Each part has a different form of digital communication. Today I filmed parts 2 and 3 which show texting and calling.

PROJECT 2

Last week I created the Surveymonkey for Project 2. This will allow people to evaluate my product once its finished and posted. The Product

My product is finally finished. After alot of editing, I manged to upload my animoto video of the IB learner profile"Balanced" so that the client, the new students, can see. I am content with the result and think the video is very informative while at the same time entertaining. Luckly, I didn't have to change my product that much from my original design so I was able to follow the steps easily. Soon, I will post a survey at surveymonkey so that others can evaluate it.

Final Part of Create

Today I finished my creating my product. Using Animoto I added more pictures and videos that represented the IB learner profile "Balanced". Following my 1st design form the Design stage I created a video that showed a week in the life of a balanced person. I think the product turned out to be creative and interesting, and the new students will be able to learn from it.

Creating The Product

Today I started creating my product using Animoto. I have added the music and text. I need to add the pictures and, the product will be finished. I also created the tables for the evaluate stage. One of them evaluates the process overall and the other evaluates me in Attitudes in Technology.

I currently have a grade of 95 on my google document.  I am missing the areas of interaction like community & service and approaches to learning. In order to improve this grade I have to write the missing sections.

Design

Today I finished the investigation stage by creating a survey to evaluate the product with surveymonkey. I then started the design stage by creating a gantt chart that will help me plan out the product and the dates I will complete each step.  I later started to create the design for my product. Today I used the IB learner profile Inquirer because I asked a lot of questions to ensure that I was doing the tasks correctly. I would like to improve in the IB learner Knowledgable so I don't have to ask so many questions anymore. I would give myself a score of 5 in Attitudes in Technology because I worked hard and caught up with my work even though I was a day behind.

Evaluating Programs

Today I finished evaluating and comparing the programs that could be used to create the video for the final product. Animoto turned out to be more simple and visualy engaging than Smilebox. It allows you add more creativity and effects which is better for the audience. I would give myself a 5 because i was able to complete the comparing part of my investigation and worked digilently.

Comparing Programs

 Today I campared which programs would be best for the presentation of the IB Profile Balanced. I compared Animoto and Smilebox based on elements like simplicity, formating and theme. I then passed the evaluation of the programs into my google docs by creating tables and a paragraph explaining why I chose those elements. I prefered Animoto because it had better music and video quality. I have looked at sample videos that were posted on the website and now i just have to test them out myself. i would give myself a 5 in Attitudes in Technology because i was focused and advanced a lot in my investigate stage.

MYP Tech Pre-Assessment

Today I completed the MYP Tech Pre-assessment and recieved a score of 74. When I take the final EOC EXAM i want to score at least a 90. In order to do this i will follow the assessment criterion and the dicription of the higher levels. I will  work digilently and make sure all my work is done on time. Also i will do my work independently and with a positive attitude whole respecting others work. In oder to learn the material i will study for the daily quizzes and final exam. i will demostrate the IB learner profile "reflective" by evaluating my work and the process.

today i took a quiz about the design cycle and got a 100. Yay! then i wrote my introduction and i now have up to 203 words in the process journal.
